About
Established in 2020
Its simple, we are all about the love tea. It all started when one of our business partners took another business partner Bill to a tearoom while in between business appointments. Begrudgingly, Bill sat down and said he “…Really wasn’t a tea drinker.” Jennifer asked, “What type of tea do you drink?” Bill answered simply, “The stuff you get at the grocery store.” Jennifer retorted, “That is not real tea.” Bill, begrudgingly agreed to try some authentic tea, with a little more persuasion from Jen of course.
Next, the tea was chosen, the pot came out, the tea was poured, and Bill tried his first real cup of tea and that was it! Bill was hooked. He even said he would never go back to store bought tea!
After that experience, Bill spoke with Fred, our third partner of his experience with “real tea.” Not really convinced but curious and looking for a Valentine’s Day treat for his wife, Fred had his first tea experience and was not only turned to the world of tea, but actually bought loose leaf tea to take home! Wow!! Fred was hooked!
Whether it was Bill or Fred who said it, is the stuff of legends, but the statement was, “Why don’t more people drink this stuff?!” This is how Travbot Teahoppers was created.

Some Tea Facts.
So... Tea or Coffe?
Tea or Coffee? What do you choose? Be careful. This choice is more important than you think! During the American Revolution, the choice between coffee or tea was not an easy one. It meant everything and therefore one could not make this choice lightly.
In our colonial years, tea was the drink of choice for those who had money. However, tea was expensive. The tea plant is native to Asia. Think India and China. After processing, it had to be shipped from the east to the west. On top of that, the British heavily taxed the import of tea. The Boston Tea Party should ring a bell.
As the colonists become more and more displeased with the English government and began to rebel, the choice of what drink became a political decision. If you picked tea, it meant you were a Loyalist and your allegiance belonged to the British grown. Choosing coffee meant you were a Patriot and loyal to colonists’ cause. It was that simple? Tea, enemy. Coffee, friend.
This is a big reason why the United States considers itself a coffee nation from the Revolutionary War years until even today. Tea, since then, has been secondary. Yet since ancient times humans have drunk tea. This is why, as a nation, we need to shrug off the chains of the past, rise up and join the rest of the world and express our love of tea.
